I don't receive notifications when I receive voice mail. The Show notifications option is grayed out and I turn it on. What else can I try?

was it always like this or after an update? have you tried rebooting the phone?

Is your ringer set to 'priority only' or similar?
This could prevent any app without an 'override priority only' setting from giving notifications.
