Help Cant turn on wifi on airplane mode

when i try to turn on wifi in airplane mode it says (in airplane mode) and wont turn on

i have Alcatel OneTouch Pop C9 4.2.2

That's right. Airplane mode turns off all the radios

.... although you can then override it by turning WiFi back on on some devices - at least I can I'm my M8. Guess yours isn't one of them though.

That's unique to your Alcatel, I've never seen anything else do that.

If it's tied up too deeply in the built-in firmware, no.

And offhand that looks exactly like what's up.
