hey, i'm wanting to delete things off my phone that i don't use and never will, ie, stocks app. and i also want to uninstall things like the fb app because i can just use facebook through the internet. i also want to delete adobe flash because it's a space eater.

however, when i go to settings > apps > manage apps there is no option to uninstall. i see the button for it, but it doesn't work.

how do i get rid of these things?

Theyre not taking up any space.

The desire is separated into 3 main partitions.

/System - Where the android OS and system apps are installed (Read only)
/Cache - Market downloads
/Data - User apps and data

"Internal memory" refers only to /data. All the applications you listed are in /System so even if you could uninstall them you would not be able to get any more space. But as /system is read only, without rooting your phone (Voiding warranty), theres nothing you can do about it.

You can, however uninstall the flash updates, which are about 11MB if I recall, also Maps if you don't want streetview or satnav. These will fee up space.

i think this is what i meant, haha.

thanks SUroot. i don't know how all my internal memory is gone, because i barely have anything on here. grr.

Adobe Flash?
It should be there somewhere, as I know I did this myself to free up space before I finally have in and rooted.
