Root Can't unroot Sony Ericsson Play R800x

I rooted my xperia play r800x about a year ago with zergrush and I spent a long time searching google and forums for ways to unroot it. I've tried so many things, like flashing the stock fw with flashtool (failed), but none have worked. I also tried the wotanserver method to no avail. I tried doing CWM recovery, but it wouldn't even let me go into recovery. It's 2.3.3, baseband version 7X30A-AAABQMAZM-1290_10-03. Kernel version 2.6.32.9-perf SEMCUser@SEMCHost #1 and build number 3.0.1.E.0.88. Don't really know if those specs help.

I originally wanted to try to flash and try a new rom, but couldn't figure that out so decided to just try and unroot and start fresh. I know there are a lot of threads out there, but nothing I have tried has worked and I'm really getting concerned. I don't know if it has anything to do with my trying to unroot, but now it appears the phone won't even connect to my wi-fi....just keeps saying "obtaining IP address" and I've never had this problem before.

Please, any help would be appreciated. I'm no expert, so please, if you can help, could you give me some help that a noob like myself can understand. I hadn't ever used any special roms, just a rooted stock rom, mainly so I could use wi-fi tether and remove bloatware, ads, etc. Also, I don't know if this matters, but I currently don't have busybox installed. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks. Any I don't care about losing apps, data, etc.
