Help Cant update apps .. No space left on device

Hi,
This is my first android device and I am quite confused coz there are so many files/folders by default. Also the SD card write permission issue has made life difficult.

This is my situation, I have moved all moveable apps to the external SD card but updates are failing saying there is no space left on device.

Please suggest me an app which shows the space used and available so that I can post screenshots here which I guess will make troubleshooting easier.

Settings > Storage should give you a good idea of what space you have. Plenty of system information apps, such as Quick System Info or System Panel, can give you information on this, but the system settings should be enough.

Remember that downloads will initially be to the device, so if that is short of space you will have a problem even if you move apps to SD (and only part of the app is moved when you do this). Try clearing caches and see whether that helps.

Yes but I am in this constant struggle to maintain free space despite having plenty of free space on the external SD.

It's sort of a normal predicament for lower end devices. You can't install many apps or games because of the limited space. You need to uninstall some apps.
