Help Can't Update...removed City ID

Verizon says it is not available on my phone and I do not see it in market. Guess I am S.O.L. on the update....

You can get it from THIS site, but do not try to install it like a regular app. You need to move it into system/app and then change the permissions to:

Owner: Read, Write
Group: Read
Others: Read

Then just reboot your phone.

I have it on my SD card....but I don't see any options to move it or change properties. Guidance please?

You need to use a root file browser like Root Explorer. Open the file explorer you've chosen, navigate to /sdcard, long press on the app, select "move" or "cut", then navigate to /system/app, paste, the long press on it and select "Permissions" and change them as indicated above.

What do you mean no luck so far. Did you follow binary's steps? If so it should have worked. What steps did you take. We need more info

went under SDcard and cut. Backed out to system file and went to app. Long pressed on app and paste. Very quick pin wheel came up. Searched app afterwards and did not see it there...........thanks
