Help Can't use MMS/data on Nexus 4 with Red Pocket

Got my new Nexus 4 last Monday and have spent the whole week trying to get the data to work. If anybody could help me figure out what is wrong I would be very grateful.

Nexus 4 / Android 4.2.2
Red Pocket Sim with Unlimited plan
Calling and SMS work fine.
Data is enabled.

Red Pocket provides an app to configure the APN, but it does not work with Jellybean so you must configure manually.
The manual config instructions show 3 different APN's that should be added (WAP, MMS, and inet) and it says that both WAP and inet should be checked as the default (obviously impossible). I tried every combination of these that I could think of,always power cycling after I made a change. The RP website also has a set of generic instructions. This has a single APN for everything. I tried this as well, with no luck.

Online RP support said everything looked fine on his end and he would reset something and I should turn the phone off, pull the sim, wait 10 min, and reinsert sim and power on. Didn't work.

Called Google support and she said she didn't have any idea what could be wrong but was sure it was the data provider's problem.

Called back to RP, said they would email me a new set of config instructions. Turns out they were the same generic instructions I had already tried.

Emailed back to RP to tell them it still isn't working, and they have not returned my email.

I have installed a widget called "3g notifier widget". The widget switches back and forth between E, G, 3g, and 3.5G depending on where I am. I am assuming this is showing what network is AVAILABLE.

I have NEVER seen the 3g or H icons in the status bar at the top of the phone, which I am assuming only appears when I am connected to the network.

I'm about ready to just but a different sim from another provider, but I'm concerned because when I look at their config settings, they are virtually identical (only the name is different), so I don't know why I should expect that to work.

If anyone has any ideas I would appreciate it.

Thanks
Chris

Have you tried with another Red Pocket SIM as opposed to another carrier?

I'll see if I can find it, but I recall there being a similar thread in the One X section which involved T-Mobile. Basically there was a SIM/Phone compatibility issue and a new SIM sorted it. Odd thing was, the same SIM worked fine in other phones.

Could be the same sort of thing here?

Have you tried using an app called tweakers on playstore it helped me out with straight talk MMS issues and I saw that red pocket is shown in the features

I don't have another RP sim at the moment to try. RP won't provide a replacement unless I can prove mine doesn't work, and since the voice and sms are working, they say the sim is fine. I'm not about to spend more money with them if they can't bother to help me. Because I haven't ported a number or anything to them, if I need to buy a new sim, it will be just as easy to buy from another carrier (with us based customer service).

I tried looking for Tweakers but was unable to find it. I found one program named Tweakers, but it is written in Dutch and appears to be a newsfeed/stock quote reader of some sort.

Any other ideas would be great.
