Can't use whatsapp on my new device - help please

hi,

I bought a second hand device - galaxy s2. I reset the device, and I deleted all the information. My previous device is Nokia E5, I used Whatsapp on this device (Nokia) without any problem.

Now I'm trying to install Whatsapp on my new device (galaxy s2) and constantly get these 2 messages:

"Unable to connect. please try again later"

OR

"Connection failed! Please reverify your number. Whatsapp can only be installed on one device per phone number."

I did the following:
- My internet connection test correctly

- I took off my whatsapp account in my old phone (thought it might help)

- No problem with my cellular provider since in my previous device with the same SIM card everything was fine.

- I have reset my phone and erased everthing

- I removed and re-installed whatsapp several times

Please help me. i don't know what to do!
Many thanks

The account you have on whatsapp probably thinks you are registering your number for different phones. You probably have to disable your old account or something. Not sure since its been a while since i stopped using Whatsapp for Viber.
