CAPACITIVE LIGHTS STAYING ON? Won't turn off ?...

I am running [ROM / KERNEL] [Team D.I.R.T] [LINARO OPTIMIZED] [JB 4.1.2] UNOFFICIAL AOKP v3.5.2. I have tried battery pulls wiping dalvik/cache .. even deleting apps. The only way to fix is a fresh install. I would post this on XDA in the OP but I dont have enough posts to put this in development..

I'm sure this is unrelated, but I've noticed that the EVO V seems to be inclined to turn the capacitive button lights on than my older OG EVO. They're brighter too. I am however stock, and your issues are completely irrelevent I am sure. I just thought I would share this as it's about 8% relevent :p

you try kernel tuner, it has that option to lower/turn off the capacitive lights?

yes. I can turn them off with kernel tuner. But the phone seems to be awake and smokes thru my extended battery even after killing the lights.. killing the lights thru kernel tuner works for the cosmetic issue . But its not fixing the issue

Had a similar issue with Evervolv where if i didnt physically press the screen off button, it wouldnt go to full off, same with cap lights. if i pressed the button to turn screen off however, everything seemed normal

I just wish someone knew how to fix my issue. I really like this ROM.

I'm on the PACman ROM and the lights don't turn on. I have used Kernel Tuner. They come on then a min later go off.
