Accessories car adapter

I want to be able to listen to the music off my fascinate in my car! What do i need?? i have an 04 grand prix, factory stereo with cd player no tape deck.

I have a friend sending me an fm transmiter will that work??

That would work having the input of the fm transmittor connected to the headphone jack of the fascinate. Now of course direct connections are going to sound a whole lot better but depending on the transmiter it could be good or really bad (the really cheap crap)

Another possible route is if you or someone you know can add a direct connect adapter into your headunit, this would require removal of the dash surround around the head unit. Not sure on the 2004+ GP's but the years before it was a pita having to work with.
 
Thanks for the input! Im not sure if my hubby could add the direct connect adapter or not? im sure if he cant I can find someone who can!
 
If you want to be totally wireless, you could get a bluetooth adapter like the moto T505. It is a bluettoth / fm transmitter in one.
