Car Chargers

Hello, a rep from my carrier company (Videotron) told me that charging my Note II in a car is not good for the device because it is too powerful and can prematurely burn out the phone's battery. Can anybody confirm if this is accurate please? Thank you

If you use a proper 5v usb charger its fine (no different to using a mains usb charger)

Someone searched the right car charger for their Note II ... and found the right cable

BTW, that adapter does the same as a charge-only cable with jumpered data pins ...
