I kinda see it, is it like in the middle of that "wide long rectangle piece of almost rubber feeling material"? Mine is more of a indent then a hole, but I haven't used my car cradle for more then maybe 3 hours

Looks like ones of those slots designed to put a flat-head lever in order to remove a panel. Not quite sure that the thing it's on is a panel though.

I thought it might be for removing that panel as well. I can't believe the OP even noticed it, knowing right where it was supposed to be it took me a minute of intense staring to find.
