Help Car Mode Problem

I'm using the Maxx in the OEM Car Dock. I have installed the app Car Home Ultra to use as my car app. Whenever I dock, both the built in Car Mode starts as well as Car Home Ultra. The Car Home Ultra shows on the screen but the default car mode screen is running and will display if I back out of Car Home Ultra. This is causing confusion and causes the text reading to initiate 2 different text reading apps. I never had the choice appear to select Car Home Ultra as my default car app. I looked to disable the Car Mode, but don't see it listed under the App tab. Any ideas? Thanks.

When Car Home Ultra is open, press Menu: Settings, then make sure you check next to Start/Stop Car Mode, that will override the stock Android app from opening.

Thanks, I will try that. That box wasn't checked so maybe that's the answer.
