Oh, hey! So I've got an HTC Wildfire S with Android version 2.3.5, but there doesn't seem to be an option for car mode on it? If I try to create a shortcut to it, which is the ONLY reference to it on the phone I've seen (it's not in the Applications list), it just gives me an option to launch it once it's put in the car dock.
I'm not planning to buy the HTC car kit for my phone anytime soon. A) My car is older, so there's no Bluetooth or MP3 jack or anything in there, and B) my family has a few iPods we want to be able to play music on as well.
Sooo, is there any way I can get that to activate? Is it even THERE, or do I have to download something to get it first?
