Help car stereo not reading all music on sd card

I have a 32 gb sd card in my phone and have about 12 gb worth of music on it. When i mount the phone via usb to my car stereo it only seems to read music through the letter L of the artist music folder. All songs in later files do not appear, yet all the music shows and plays fine through the players on the phone. Has anyone else had similar issues, and if so how did you address? Is this a problem with my sd card, or could it be that the sd is too large for my stereo to read? Any info is appreciated.

If I had to guess, I would say that your car stereo isn't prepared to handle 12 gb of data. A compact disc is about 700 mb and a DVD is 4 gb, so depending no what kind of car stereo you have, it may not be manufactured to take on 12 gb of data at a time.

Thanks for the reply. I did some research along the lines and figured out from the car stereo manual that it can only handle 128 folder with up to 500 songs per folder. Going to consplidate files into combined folders and hopefully can then access all songs. Thanks again for the reply. :-)
