Help Carriage return in text?

[mhynek]

I'm sorry for the rudimentary question, but does anyone know how to do a carriage return in a text message on the Devour? My friend just got one and she asked if it was possible. Since I have a Droid and haven't had the opportunity to examine her phone yet, I couldn't help her. Your assistance is greatly appreciated!

not sure if it works with the devour, but i've had success with "shift+enter".

Press the 'Fn' key, then scroll to the left on the optical joystick.

Thank you so much!

No problem, I just played around with the phone a bit.
