Help Carrier question!

Can a Samsung Galaxy S3 SCH-r530U (cdma) work on a GSM carrier?

I typed some codes,went to service mode,found the band selection and selected all Gsm carriers but it still doesn't recognise my local GSM Carrier..


Thank you I just ended up paying for the phone and i only can browse facebook haha

Just taking a look on the Samsung website, it doesn't appear that it has any UMTS/HSPA/EDGE/GPRS support, only LTE and CDMA/EDVO. So it looks like you might be out of luck unfortunately.

no it cant as far as we know. Many experienced devs have tried and so far none have been successful. It appears that the Cdma phones do not have the Gsm radios or antennas.
