Root Carrier Unlock

I've had my Leon activated since June and the stock unlock app has denied my device unlock. Can it be do to the fact that my phone is rooted is causing the fail. I would love to get this device unlocked so I can go back to my F6 as a daily driver. Bought and activated the phone in mid June it should be unlocked by now.

I would dial 611 and keep saying gibberish until the 3rd "I didn't get that" and bam, customer service rep.
It's stupid you even have to do that

Finally unlocked back to the F6 as of tomorrow night!

How did you go about unlocking it?

I called Metro PCS customer service and they unlocked it for me.
