Case for OEM extended battery?!?

Hey yall. I just got my vzw extended battery.
I currently have a seidio active case and it does not fit very well with my new battery :(

Anybody using a case that has really good protection and fits? (Ie: otterbox commuter, or defender or similar)

With my old droid x i bought an extended battery and had a commuter case. I cut the silicone liner out and used it that way. Would this work with the nexus or not because the batt door is so big?

I need to order something asap!
Thanks!!!

Seidio also makes the Surface case for the LTE Nexus specifically for use with the OEM (VZW) extended battery:

Beyond that, not sure. Probably a bunch of the TPU cases will, as there is some flexibility with those that allow for some room to fit.

I saw that one but i hate hard cases. Lol
Ive had a few times where ive dropped my phone and a good case has saved my butt. Espically since i usually resell my phones, i like to keep em in perfect condition. I might look at some youtube vids and get specific photos of the otterbox deferder and commuter and see if i can mod them to fit correctly :(

Lots of cases fit Samsung's extended battery. My Otterbox Defender fits, no problem, as does my wife's Diztronic revision 3.

The defender honestly fits with no issues (screen problems, hard to snap on, etc)?
My current active barley fits. Its annoying so i want something that will work!!

The Defender has a hard plastic inner shell, so it's not capable of giving too much... that said, the fit is tight, but the latches all snap and hold properly, and there's no issue with the screen. If anything, I've read some complaints of the Nexus fitting slightly loose in the Defender -- enough so that it moved a little when shaken, or when futzing with the USB cable -- and that hasn't presented itself as an issue with my setup.

Great! Ill prob get one soon.
To my knowledge, the defender has a soft pad inside the shell. If its too tight im hoping i can remove it to free up some space. The defender for my old bionic didnt have a soft liner and i never had issues with my batt cover getting scratched and stuff so i dont see it being a problem to take it out if need be.
