Accessories Case-mate for Evo 4G in stock

Long time viewing, first time poster...

Seems like case-mate were the ones to beat based on posts i have read on here and the Barely There case is in stock now. I've never used them (or any case actually) so I was hoping someone could let me know if its worth holding out for the Gelli (TPU) case? Also, how is the quality of the "included screen protection"?

yes, it looks similar to the other case that you're referring to, except for a few important things that shouldn't be over looked...
check out the pink one and you'll be able to see easier

1) the cutouts on the back are separate versus a whole open spot
2) they intentionally raised the plastic on the back and put it around the cam, making the opening a little smaller

so although it may look like the other thin cases, it will most definitely protect the cam, which is where the other one falls short for some of the other members around the forums.

looks like a nice case to me. i'd like one in another color though.

I ordered this case on Tuesday. I have used the Case-mate "barely there" series for my previous blackberries...i love these cases! I am hoping to have the case waiting for me when I get home from work today (i paid extra $ for quicker shipping). Will report back as soon as it is on my EVO.

I wish they had other colors. That case looks by far the thinnest that I've seen.

Well I just got my case-mate in and I think I like the fit of the cheep ebay ones much better, I'm just not felling the new case at all. I hate when this happens now Ill have to see the Incipio case.

Crap I still don't like it maybe ill stand in Best Buy here in New Orleans and try to unload it in the store ???

Ya it has a heavy edge top and bottom not easy to use the on and off button, just way to much edgeing or large lip I guess that sticks out. I really don't think it's a great fit at all and I sure I'll put my $7.00 case back on. Looking to see what everyone else thinks when they get there's .

Oh and it's not easy to get the kick stand out not enough room to get your finger in there to pop it out, sorry.
