Accessories Case mate - TORQUE or TOUGH (which one is sturdier)

It's weird, I see the tough case it has 2 parts, a soft silicone with some harder cover on it. Does the cover come off easy or something? I feel the Torque seems to hold better since it's a 1 piece?

Anyone got info?
 
I have the Tough Case - it doesn't come off easily by any stretch of the imagination :D
I would have thought the Tough would give more protection, as the outer shell will spread any impact, and the silicone inner should absorb the energy.
That said, I haven't dropped it yet, case or not :eek: :rolleyes:
 
Sorry - only camera I have to hand is on the phone... :rolleyes:

Removing the outer hard shell is easy enough if you are careful, but it won't come off in use, if that is your concern.

There is no way the case will come apart, it's superbly built.

Friend dropped his right onto a concrete floor from 4 or 5 feet last night and didn't even bat an eye-lid.
 
I have the Tough and wouldn't swap it for any other case, with the exception of an Otterbox. They are very similar in looks, but the Otterbox is 3-4 times the price.

The Tough really is made extremely well made and despite increasing the size and weight of the Desire, worth investing in. The thought of dropping an unprotected phone worth
