This may be a stupid question, but does anyone know of any cases that don't allow the keyboard to open? I'll never use the keyboard and while pretty new (2 weeks), the keyboard has been loosened up enough that it slides open just a bit in my pocket, enough to turn the screen on without me knowing. I know the whole point of the Droid2 is the keyboard, but I bet there are a lot of us here who never use it. Any info on this would be great. If not, I might just gorilla glue it shut.

you may wanna try so local cell shops, I know my friend got one and she was pissed that the keyboard didn't open so she took the case back. How come yall did get the droidX?

Seriously. I would exchange for a DX. D2 was your emergency since your old phone was on its last leg. Now you have the D2 so exchange. I use my keyboard constantly that's why I chose the D2

Even easier! You would just have to log in with your google account/MOTOBLUR account and everything would be transferred. You would also want to take out the MicroSD card.

I've never really had an issue with my phone opening in my pocket. My slider is pretty loose too.
