Just got one delivered to me yesterday, and yes the power & volume control are both covered but so far hasn't caused me any problems, the only gripe i have with it is that it's not exactly a snug fit. I expected it to be a problem to get on the phone but it was easy as all the gel cases seem to be made slightly bigger than the phone, the phone won't drop out if your holding it but yea not the best, but it's better than nothing.
