Cases for Relay

I just got this case for my relay and its very nice. Here is the link for incipio's two cases. I got the polycarbonate with silicone core:D. Black/Black, package comes with one screen protector and mini creditcard to smooth out bubbles and a cleaning cloth. I wanted to cover both volume buttons and power button.

Also ordered another D3O but smooth gel case black. I got a blue one first with texture skin but the clip for the bottom portion broke off. I ordered another one because the material seems like it can withstand alot of punishment and if felt good inhand.

This case looks similar to the case I got at T-Mobile, when I bought my phone. Yours covers/protects the volume buttons better. The one I got has a good grippy texture and a slide out easel so the phone can stand in landscape or portrait mode. T-Mobile gave it to me for $15 which was 1/2 price.

Does your case block or interfere with the NFC signal?

Hi Joe_PDA,

I also got the same grippy case you have as well. I'll try the NFC feature with the Incipio case with one of my friend's phone(with NFC) to see if the communication works between them okay. I'll report back.:)

Thanks. I'm really curious to know if this case stops the NFC signal.
I really like the high quality of this case. It clips on so well.
It sounds like you have many, which case do you like the best?

Hi Joe_pda,
I like the incipio case right now because it looks nice and reminds me of the trident case(polycarbonate hardcase and silicone inside) from my old htc status. I had a Speck case for my recently replaced captivate glide and it reminds of that case too. But the D3O case feels it can protect better(watch their demo videos). The incipio case didn't interfere with NFC. Works fine transferring info. Win/win.

Hey psygnosi,
Cool...Its good to know the case doesn't interfere with NFC.

That case really looks high quality, like a case I had on one of my old HTC communicators too. I've got a big box of old HTC phones, cases and accessories gathering dust here. wish I could find a good use for all this stuff.

I am having a hard time finding a case for my relay (i just purchased) i dont want to spend $30. Do you know of anywhere else that may have the case?

There are a lot of cases now on eBay for the Relay. Most are generic but you can find a few good ones mixed in, just have to look for them. Prices are pretty good too. :)

For whatever it's worth: I just ordered a D3O case for my Relay from T-Mobile.com and was happily surprised to find it's been marked down to $15 bucks, plus about $5 shipping. Sellers on Amazon were wanting just short of $30. (Not to mention the fact that T-Mo better know which skin fits which phone, right?)

The phone itself sure was hard to find. Apparently, it's the only slider in the price range. The low-end slider is a Huawei, and has the poor keyboard layout I'd expect from that brand. Called over a half dozen stores before I found one in stock (they had 5, so go figure).
