Cases for the RAZR MAXX

The luxmo case fits perfectly though the overlap design makes the volume rocker buttons very stiff. There is a cut out for the power button so it is fine.

Front lip allows face-down on a table with no worries, material is stiffer than silicon so it won't get snagged up or loose like silicon covers.

If you want a glossy type snug case it is excellent.

Anyone know of any B&M stores that carry the Otterbox cases (for Maxx)? I'd like to feel the difference in my hand versus ordering blind. (meaning the general feel and look/size, not the build quality)

OK, the Defender offers great protection bit it definitely makes Maxx's butt look too big ;)

The Commuter is a nice compromise between protection and bulk, IMO.
First time commuter user here and really liking it. Just what I was looking for. and no big butt.:p

Been enjoying the Otterbox Commuter myself. I agree the phone is a bit easier to hold on to as well.

I have the silicone one that VZW sells and I do not like it at all. The case does not cover the buttons so it makes it difficult to operate the phone.

Looks like ill be checking out the commuter.

I don't want a case but know I should get one. Looks like I'm going to go with the high gloss one from VZW. I had it on my Incredible and loved it.

I just picked up the VZW high gloss silicone case. Love it. Easy to put in and take out of pockets. Probably won't protect from a high drop but it'll do. :-)

I gave in waiting for my skinomi stuff to get here on tuesday and picked up a blue Verizon tpu case and its not to bad.

Ordered a generic black tpu case from an Amazon seller. It was like $8.99 for the case, a screen protector, and home and car chargers. Surprisingly, all of it worked!

The tpu case is a perfect fit and works great. I guess my only complaint is that its solid black, not n slightly translucent like the one from my Eris.

I have been asking Siedio on Facebook but they don't know if they are going to make one or not. #shame

It seems they've changed their response on facebook...

Seidio wrote: "I hear that we will be releasing the SURFACE and Combo for the RAZR Maxx for now...but we may add additional lines depending on demand and requests!"

Went into Verizon to get a Outterbox Defender case...but they told me I had to order it. I thought they carried thoses? Oh well!

They do, but when a person phone is as popular as the MAXX the accessories are in high demand. They probably didn't expect to sell as many as they did.

does the otter box commuter case feel grippy on the sides.this phone is too slippery for me. If its not i'm getting the casemate pop case

I'd love the casemate but they emailed me directly with a comment that they aren't sure if its coming. Anyone have anything different?

There's a couple Verizon cases, the standard cheap silicon ones I've never liked, and the one I posted pics on which you saw (but in the interest of others): http://androidforums.com/3862601-post31.html

From the research I've done to date, this is still my preferred case. Most of the others are too bulky from the pics I've seen (seidio and otterbox specifically). I'd be interested as well what slimline cases others have seen.

This is the one I have. Barely adds any weight or bulk to the handset, looks good, nice feel in hand.
