CD and DVD ripping to send to SGS2

Hi all,

wanting to put films and music onto my galaxy s2 and wanted to know what is the best programme to rip the dvd/cd with first. (not had itunes before so will be starting my library from scratch)

I want a programme that will rip both and save them in compatible file format so i can send them to kies for transfer to the handset - I cant believe that you cannot rip dvd/cd to kies directly (contending with apple and itunes this is a big let down, what a faff trying to get stuff onto the phone)

any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

they seem to be about apps where as i am after software to build a library with album art etc

For ripping movies, I use Xilisoft DVD ripper. For ripping audio CDs, Windows Media Player works nice. WinAMP also has that feature, but meh. Even if I do use WinAmp to manage my media library.

You need something that can overcome the DVD copy protection. There are some around but I ain't sayin' what/where.
