Root [CDMA] 1.5 downgrade fail.. help

ok, i just went back to stock with the 1.13 ruu, worked fine no biggy i had the 1.4 hboot. well i got prompted for the 2.08 and i took it, was still on 1.4 hboot.
i was in the shower and my fiance was playing with my phone and she was promoted with 2.17 and she did it now im hboot 1.5 and i cant get it to read and PG86IMG.zip to start a upgrae to intentionally brick for me to downgrade. can someone post a pg86img that WILL read to upgrade on the 2.17. and would you be so kind as to post it here and not some bs 3rd party site bc i dont want to wait 4 hours for it to download and i do not want to sign up for anything to be able to wait 4 hours to download.

Are you S-OFF or S-ON?

If S-OFF, you can just flash the proper HBOOT. https://www.box.com/s/8875f2cdef8376d9faab - SHIP Hboot 1.4

How do you get 1.5 s-off? I thought it wasn't possible

Have 1.4 S-OFF and then take an OTA. The OTA doesn't set the flag back go to S-ON, supposedly. Although I'm not willing to try it. I figured you would be able to confirm that.

At what point did it fail and how?

Where I take the ROM.zip out rename it PG86IMG.zip and try to upgrade it via bootloader

It didn't prompt to upgrade just read the zip and went back to the main bootliader options

Put your bootloader into FASTBOOT USB (meaning connect the USB into the computer and make sure it's in fastboot mode). Then run the RUU.EXE, do not use the ZIP file. See if that helps.
