Root [CDMA] 1.5 root help please

I got most the bugs worked out and i into recovery but when try to open the super user file i get:

So su-2.3.6.3-efgh-signed.zip is on your SD card now? If no, put it on your SD card and try again.

If yes: It does say *** UNLOCKED *** in your bootloader, right?

If yes: I recommend you pick a ROM and follow the HBOOT 1.5 flashing instructions. I also recommend you install TWRP 2. It's much nicer to use than CWM.

yes it is my folder and bootloader says unlocked. wierd thing super user ap is in my ap list now but wifi did not work. after some looking today i found a root checker ap and it says i am not rooted...


also can i do a rom with out root?

ok guys the twrp 2 worked (and is great!!)
phone took super user this time and is working
root checker came back with phone is rooted!!!!

now to get wifi up and running thanks for the help!!

You should be able to download a kernel (even the stock kernel) and flash it with this app and your wifi should start working again:
