Root [CDMA] Clockworkmod Doesn't Work

I have hboot 1.5 and used fastboot to flash the clockworkmod 5.0.2.0. shooter image, but whenever I try to boot into recovery my phone sits at the HTC screen for a while then reboots into the OS. TWRP works fine, but I prefer CWM. Anyone else have his problem/ figure out how to fix it?

I finally flash the updated recovery yesterday, as reading this post I figured I would check to see if my phone would boot into recovery, and it did, either try flashing the recovery again from CWM, or scroll down in CWM and flash back an older recovery and try again, and make sure it is allowing SU permission.
