Root [CDMA] evo 3d which rom to use ??????

ive tried many cm7, meanrom, zed..420.orsomething, viper, but i cant seem to get rcmix kernal to work. about to install synergy. i want a sense aosp with oc!
if anyone can help that would be great

Well, all I've heard is that MeanROM is a very good rom to use.

Mean Rom is a good OC rom and it's pretty much stock. There are quite a few roms out there to choose from. Make a nandroid backup and start trying them out.

I'm currently on Mikrunny, which is awesome, sense 3.5 with a bunch of extras. It's a Mik ROM, you can't go wrong.

A Sense AOSP kernel? Most ROMs for the Evo 3D are Sense-based.

It's because you're using RCMIX. That kernel has been out of date for nearly 6 months. Try AnthraX or freeza's kernel.

Anthrax has AOSP kernels that are made for CM7 and the CM9 betas, so if you want to go the AOSP route, you need Anthrax. If you're getting a Sense ROM (Mean, Viper, ZR3D, etc), you can get either Anthrax or freeza. I haven't tried freeza's kernels, yet, as I like beats. But it looks awesome for battery management.

Same here.. I've tried many ROMs but always go back to Mik ROMs. Always great ROM from Mik..

I haven't even flashed my phone since mikrunny came out. It's a great rom.

Kind of took the fun out of the forums for me though, but the phone is doing everything I want it to now.

Yeah, mikrunny is always my daily driver. I flash many roms, but always get back to mik..

Funny thing is that a few days ago I was browsing xda and saw the Mean rom thread and got curious about it so I took the plunge. This is by far the best rom I've even run on the 3d. I was a little leery about updating the firmware to run it but talked myself into it. Unless I have some unforeseen problems with this I think I'm done with Mikrunny. It's shocking how much better this is. My phone has never been so fast and battery life has been through the roof. I was off charge yesterday for 6 hours and still at 97.
