Root [CDMA] help with rooted phone purchased off Craigslist

Hello All,

I just bought an HTC EVO 3D last night from a guy off of craigslist and I noticed it did not have the Google Play or Android Market. That was only the first problem, I then took it to a Sprint store to find out that it was rooted and after the employee did a hard reset it will now freeze at the starting HTC screen and won't get past it.

Can anyone help in any way? Please and thanks.

The issue you will have is, if you never rooted a phone before will be trying to explain to you on how to put it back to stock, from the RUU, do you still have the guys info that you bought it from, you can call him and ask him if he can restore it, the issue you are having now is he rooted it and when Sprint the a FR, they messed the phone up, because it probably took the new ICS OTA update, which messes with Root.
