Root [CDMA] I always mess up somewhere, phone won't boot past HTC screen.

I'll just be honest and cut the bs. I unlocked the bootloader, installed su and recovery. Then I thought I could just flash roms at this point so I went ahead and flashed "viper"... We'll It only booted to the main screen and just got stuck there. I went back into recovery and tried to recover my old stock image but EVEN that started giving me problems. Now I don't know what to do. I'd like to just go back to stock and start all over... sigh this is giving me a headache. This is what happens to noobs... If anyone would like to help guide me just to get my phone back to stock that's all I really want at this point. I'd appreciate it tremendously.
