Root [CDMA] Installing Clockwork mod and Super User

After performing HTC's Root Method do I have to push clockwork mod and super user from my computer or can I just download them from the market?
 
With htc unlock you have to flash recovery from the bootloader and boot into recovery through fastboot. If you don't do it this way would can not boot to the /boot partition. I will help with commands once I get to work
