Root [CDMA] Laggy boot on custom roms

Whenever I've tried downloading custom ROMs, the phone starts up with a super slow framerate then after about 2 minutes it jumps back to regular speed. Also, the system UI will crash at random and the phone will be unusable for another minute. There doesn't seem to be any difference between different ROMs. I've already tried reclassified get everything to stock and the same issues occur. Should I take it back to boost and exchange it or are these symptoms happening for others as well?

This is due to the phone updating. But after flashing a rom or custom rom you need to let the device set for about 10 - 15 minutes. This will allow the device to settle .

Other than that, everything is stock. When I leave the stock ROM in, there are no issues. It's just in any custom ROMs this happens. I've tried both C-Rom and Cyanogen and they both have the exact same issues. I've tried both of them without installing 3rd party apps also.

OK what builds are you using cause if they nightly your on your own til a new build. This maybe the gapps also if you flash the wrong gapps are u using the universal

Okay. I'm going to try a snapshot (milestone) build and get back to you. I'll also be flashing the gapps package listed on CM's website, unless you would recommend a different gapps package...

That did the trick! Switched to Paranoid Android and it's smooth as warm butter. Solved the problem by paying attention, wouldn't you know it...

No problem here to help post back if you have any other issues also may I ask what gapps did you use with the para rom .
