Root [CDMA] looking for a good battery saving/OC rom +kernel

as the title says im looking to get as much battey power out of my stock 3D battery. Currently im using CM7 and so far love it but battery life is eh will last a day and a half at most. If i use the phone like normal it will die in less than a day. I rather AOSP but i will use sence roms too really doesnt matter that much to me.
 
Are you using the tiamat kernel with CM7? If no, try that out.

AOSP ROMs generally save more power then the Sense ROMs. But of the Sense ROMs, I'd recommend you try out CleanROM, Synergy and/or ViperMOD. Then get another launcher like Launcher Pro or Go Launcher to shut down Sense.
 
Well thing is I tried the tiamat one but I don't think it worked ill give it another shot though just have to find where to download it again lol
 
ok i got the tiamat installed and its working fine just a quick question i assume i should be suing setcpu to controll it all but what do you recommend have the settings on?
