Root [CDMA] Newcomer needs help with root and recovery

This site is awesome. I have a EVO 3d. My superuser went out. Reading on these forms, I am learning allot. I am going to have to figure where I went wrong. Still not reading Superuser 3.0 I installed off Evoroot site. What other recommands would you suggest to get the best performance. I am going to install the Amon Ra. 2.6 I just need to make sure I know what I am doing. I did have my phone rooted, now it not reading any rooted apps. Not even after installing, under easy install. Root checker, busy box cpu contols. Nothing. Any Ideas on how I can maybe reboot/install the superuser 3.0 before I do the the ROOT process again. I have all apps in SD and phone ready. Thank you.

This is the evo4G forum, you need to be posting in the evo3D forum.

I repeat do not flash anything until you get it from the correct forum!!!

when did you root your 3d? how did you root your 3d? did you unlock thrugh htc or use revolutionary? what recovery do you have installed?
