Root [CDMA] No Wifi

Hey guys I'm having a little issue with my WiFi and I'm unsure what to do or whats wrong.

My dads and my phones WiFi stopped working all of a sudden on the Cyanogen Mod on one of the latest nightlies. I thought it was just a update thing and it would be fixed but it didn't get fixed. So I decided what the heck and I tried out the Paranoid Rom and my WiFi still didn't work. On a stable release and unofficial release. So I decided than to downgrade to stock and see if I got WiFi and I did. Re upgraded to Paranoid and no WiFi again. I did the wipe everything than the format the phone.

I'm not sure if this is a rom bug or if my phone is just weird with roms. Any info on this would be awesome.
I also tried searching the threads for the roms and only 1 guy had the issue but no reply on if its a bug or not.

Thanks guys!

The fact that wi-fi works on your other ROM, is a clear sign that it has something to do with the ROM. Either your phone wifi adapter does not support the driver that comes with the ROM or the driver that comes with the ROM does not work with your phones wifi adapter. Usually the later is the case, but you can try doing some manual set-up within your wi-fi settings in your phone, when using the ROM that works, note the IP address that is used, copy it somewhere then manually enter it into the ROM that doesn't seem to work. Not sure whether this can work for you, but its something I have previously tried with an old phone that I had.

I looked at my IP when you said to copy it down and look at it. Turns out for my dads Cyanogen and my Paranoid that the IP for our router was set to a whole different router type lol. A quick swap and bam fixed the issue. Thank you so so much for giving me that idea lol. 3g sucks where I live and having WiFi again is amazing. So thanks so dam much!:)
