Root [CDMA] Patch mms limits?

Is there a way to patch the limits on mms? Ex: When I send a picture message, it lowers the quality of the picture. This is due to the limits it has on mms because the phone takes high quality pics, apparently too high for the mms system. I put this in all things root just in case the way to patch it might be only through root.

Many ROMs enable 5MB MMS patches, which is much higher than the (IIRC) 1 MB limit that is the default. You'll have to root and install a custom ROM to get this feature. I'm not aware of any stand alone patches that do it.
