Root [CDMA] Phone won't turn on [SOLVED]

So I was creating a backup in TWRP when I heard my phone buzz the screen was of and I tried to turn it back on and it wouldn't work. I put it on the charger and tried again, didn't work. Did it hard brick or what. Is it possible to brick when making a backup?

With Android, anything is possible. :o
So what was the conclusion? It's still off and unable to turn on?
If you connect to a PC, does ADB recognize it?

Also, as a favor to others (and yourself), would you mind editing the thread title to something closer to your problem? :)

can you get it into fastboot

It kinda fixed itself. After trying to get it to turn on a few times I finally just sat there and held down the power button for about 1 1/2 to 2 minutes straight and it turned on. When it booted up everything was normal and the backup wasn't there. Sooooo I have no clue what happened.

I just had a similar issue with my moto g. I just got a new one yesterday cuz I shattered my screen,(thank goodness for Radio Shacks warranty) and didn't even unlock the boot loader yet. After sending my girl a text, I noticed it was off and would not turn back on. The battery was like half charged. It wouldn't even start charging when plugged. Then I remembered seeing this post and after holding the power button for about 30 seconds, it booted. The one I broke never did this once. I hope it doesn't happen while installing a ROM or backup!
