Root [CDMA] Return to Original ROM

Newbie
Hi, I have just installed infected ROM on my HTC EVO 3D. But I dont like some of its feature like I am not getting facebook for HTC Sense and other things. So now I want to return into my original ROM. So what should I do? I had done Nandroid backup before flashing a new ROM. So if I just restore Nandroid then is it going to bring back my original ROM? Please help.

That is correct, Nandroid, then restore your stock rooted nandroid rom.

Am I going to get back my original ROM by restoring nandroid? I have searched some posts like I have to download stock RUU and other things like gold card etc. That means I dont need to do anything if I just restore nandroid?

Well that all depends if you made a backup of your Stock ROM, then simply restore it, and your good to go, if not, then you will have to revert back to the stock RUU and flash again. Before you do anything make sure you let us know what you have in Nandroids before you go flashing.

You don't have to run the RUU to get the stock ROM again. You can just flash the Stock ROM :)

[ROM] Stock Rooted Htc Evo 3D/Shooter Odex & Deodex Roms 1/17/2011 (2.17 ADDED) - xda-developers

Just grab the latest ZIP file if you have all the latest firmware. If you don't have the latest radios, then get the third to last.

how do you determine if you have the latest radio? I also need to flash back to stock as I've lost all internet & txt capablilities when i changed my phone number - they attempted to update my phone and then went from not getting txts to not getting internet. ( sprint).

So if I go with jerofld "get the third to last" suggestion. d/l zip to sd card and then boot into recovery mode and install zip? that easy?

hboot 1.40.110
radio: 0.97.00.0518

mudding the waters.. but i do have nandroid pretty sure I didnt initiate a backup of the partition at any point. Bit scared of selecting the Restore Partition and messing things up even more ( assuming this would assist in any way to getting to stock rom)

I have Hboot 1.40.1000
and radio 1.06.001216

You should be fine if you want to return to stock....

Before you try any of that - I would restore your back up (nandroid)
Don't worry about the partitions ...
see how this works.
