ed needs help
Lurker
Hi,
Long story, but I use my Moto G for a specific purpose to help manage his Type 1 Diabetes (see www.nightscout.info). A long time ago I paid a guy to help root the phone because I thought I needed to. I didn't. Then the phone started doing strange stuff, so I tried to return to stock using the www.rootjunky.com method. It worked great and restored the phone to XT 1032, but it looks like that's a problem with Boost/Ting phones because they are all on XT 1031.
So ... I know nothing, but I would greatly appreciate it if someone could give me a dummy guide to restoring to completely stock Boost firmware. I don't need to be rooted or anything at all, but I don't know how to do fancy things other than follow videos on YouTube (which is why I was able to pull of the rootjunky method.
I would greatly appreciate any kind help -- this for a good cause (medical device/watching my kid's blood sugar while away from me). Thanks!
