Root [CDMA] ROM Manager help....

Hey guys had a question. I was thinking about installing MeanROM on my 3D...So I started going through the options in ROM Manager. However I found that when I click on "Reboot into Recovery" it just reboots my phone. It doesn't take me into recovery....Any ideas what's wrong? Also when I try to make a backup of the stock ROM it lets me name it but then my phone restarts and when I go into "Manage and Restore Backups" there is no backup...

Nope, it's likely due to HBOOT 1.5. IIRC, you said in another post that you're Unlocked through HTC Dev? ROM manager does not work with S-ON devices (even ones that are unlocked).

I recommend 4EXT, instead. It has a similar app for managing, installing ROMs, backing up, etc (actually, I think it's better). But it works flawlessly with S-ON devices. [TOUCHCOVERY] ORIGINAL | 4EXT Recovery Touch v1.0.0.5 RC1 with SmartFlash for s-on - xda-developers

OK, I'll give it a shot

Just wanted to say thanks.....I didn't have this much trouble with my Hero and I feel like such a tool because I seem to be having so many issues now with the 3D

It's not your fault, it's HTC's unlock that messes with people so much. When we were all on HBOOT 1.3 and 1.4, things were so much easier.
