I have a EVO 3D w/1.5 hboot. I went to HTC website and did the unlocking and it worked. Then I ran the su-2.3.6.3-efgh-signed zip file. It went fine and it shows Superuser in my applications. I tried running a app from the Market that I had before on my other EVO,but it gives me an error. The app I downloaded and tried is Wireless Teather, Barnacle & Open Garden WiFi. I get the same problem for all. It keeps telling me is your device rooted.Can some one please help me and tellin me what Im doing wrong.

how did you run the file? what recovery are you running, are you familiar with adb and fastboot?
What i believe your problem is, is that with the htc unlock method, no tethering options work unless you are running a rooted rom this includes stock. your stock rom with su does not = rooted rom. post answers and it will allow better help
