Root [CDMA] Rooted EVO 3D having problems unlocking

I'm currently rooted with hboot 1.4 (downgraded) and at first the phone was doing well and I didnt have problems. A while ago I installed the first or so version of meanrom ics and have been using it ever since. But recently i've been having problems. When I press the lock button to unlock the phone, the screeen comes on and the capacitive buttons but the screen itself is black. I can still also see the backlight. I have to keep pressing the lock button really fast for the screen to actually come back on and then i can use the phone. I've switched to about 3 different roms (all on meanroms ics/virgin base) and i still have the same problem. Any help?

Flash back to a stock rom and see if the problem persists.

Do exactly as Overbyter mentioned, also try the Zred 2.1 ICS Rom and let us know if you still have the same issue. I don't know what recovery you are using, but I would also try 4EXT it is worth and may resolve some issues.
