Root [CDMA] [Rooted] Gmail app not sending

Is anyone else having issues with the gmail app not sending emails? i tried to look for a solution and the only one i've read about is to go to manage apps and clear the data. tried that but it didnt' work. any help would be appreciated.

ive not had any issues with gmail. using a tablet and the handset.

i am rooted. running the latest version of virus' rom. maybe it's the rom? idk. but yeah, tried battery pull, clearing data, etc. and it was a no go. actually i have a asus transformer and i'm running into the same problem with it. maybe i'll head over to that forum and see if i can find anything.

could very well be an issue with the ROM.

moved post here to root section to get more focused info. i would also check the Asus forum.

i use a moto xoom wifi only along with the 3D and have no gmail issues at all across 3 different gmail accounts. both devices stock unrooted.

thanks for moving the thread. i actually figured out what was the issue and it was only partially related to root access. amazon offered an app called seal (which is actually a great security app) a few week ago and i've been using it on my 3d and my transformer. i also gave it root access on both devices, which is an option with the app. apparently a lot of ppl using that app had the same issue. i deleted the app and now gmail is working again.

if anyone else with that app is having the same issues, it's seal that's probably causing it.
