So, I've gone through the rooting guide ("Complete Newbie's Guide...") exactly, not using an alternative ROM or anything like that. I now find that I can't install apps. Here are the methods I've tried:
1) In a browser, I go to the Play store (uggh, hate that stupid name...) and select an app I've previously purchased. My Nook Color shows up as an installation target, but not my Evo 3D.
I checked "My Devices" in the online Play store; this phone does not appear in the list, whereas before I see it and select it as an installation target.
2) In the on-device Market app, I go to "My Apps". None of the ones I've purchased show. On the other hand. I can search, one-by-one, and install. That's going to take a pretty long time, though.
Any suggestions?
<sheepish> OK, so apparently I just didn't wait long enough to gripe and whine... About half an hour was enough for the device to appear. </sheepish>
