So I wanted to see if any of you other TWRP users have been re calibrating your battery with TWRP and have had success?
I just restored a NANDroid of Viper 1.3 after an unsuccessful ROM swap last night and decided to do a battery recal today. My battery life has been pretty off since I started flashing ROMs, but I've recalibrated using TWRP. Today, I did things differently. I was at 99% and downloaded the battery calibration app from the Market (I didn't want to have to reboot into recovery and wipe from there). I hit recal and have noticed since then that my battery life has improved. It's been 2 hours since I wiped my batt stats with the app and I'm still at 97% with light usage. Before, I'd probably be in the low 90s to high 80s.
Can anyone else confirm what I'm seeing? Unfortunately, I don't have any battery stats to wipe anymore, so I can't go back and verify if TWRP actually wipes stats or not. I'll probably try myself in a few days, if no one does. And, of course, I'll report my findings (if I find that they do not, infact, wipe the stats) to the developers.
