sorry that that happened to you... the best thing to do if it got water in or on it would be:
1: remove battery sim card, sd cards, etc.
2: dry it with a towel of some form
3: place all components into a zip lock bag filled with rice
this has saved a phone or two for me , it just depends how wet it got, if water got into the main components it may be done for... let it dry out for a while and hopefully it works still. Good Luck!
