Help Cell info display

Hi...i was wondering if x8/x10 has a cell info display feature

i need to know the nearest network tower details as i travel....preferably without any data charges as i had i nokia.

can anyone help
 
This may be relevant depending on which country/network you are using, but I have found many network providers only broadcast this information on the GSM signal and not on 3G. You may want to try using on of the applications you have found and switch the phone to GSM only to see if you get a different result.

well my operator do support the cell information or area info; and my phone is on GSM only... but no luck
 
hi , i have a very weird problem and i wish that some one can help me !!
i want an app for monitoring my nearest antenna towers and chose the best one.
my home is in a place that my antenna always change between 2 towers ( im using 2G GSM ) and it become a very big problem when i using internet ! ( EDGE ) cause it completely destroy my connection !! when im connecting to internet and my tower contact changes to another tower my internet become completly down !! i hadnt this problem this much! with my previous phone nokia 5320! it could handle that very well but my new xperia mini pro cant do anthing about it !!!
can someone tell me what to do plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz???? im so disappointed with my new phone :(
