The only reason I got the smart phone was to put a second line on my account with unlimited data before Verizon changed to the tiered plans. I still have all of November and 3/4 of December to get it fully locked down.

What did you use to block everything?

I went into her phone under security I think and you'll need to enter the passcode (which I think is the last four numbers of the phone number of the line it's for) then you can change it to what you want. There should be option's for incoming calls, out going calls, and the same for texts. The calls I made was to only allow the numbers in her contact list (which I had for mine and her grandmothers number) then for texts, incoming and outgoing was not allowed. Then I called vzw and told the to block internet for that number. Her phone is a dumb flip phone so a smart phone may be different. Hope that helps.
